Tuling Stamped Circuit Board Shield

Tuling stamps customized circuit board EMI shields that minimize the RFI/EMI effect and protect EMC-sensitive electronic components.

Tuling PCB EMI Shield

Tuling circuit board shields are designed to safeguard electronic components only on the PCB. We use conductive and magnetic sheet metals, e.g., stainless steel, nickel-silver alloy, etc., for our board-level shielding products.

A tin/nickel/copper/silver coating is added to increase the shielding effectiveness. Our PCB shields can absorb/reflect EMI/RFI up to 40dB from 100MHz to 1.5GHz.

We can achieve a ±0.01mm flatness tolerance with our high-end tooling and prototyping technology. All our PCB shields are IEC and RoHS compliant, and manufactured, maintaining ISO 9001:2015 guidelines.

Can We Chemical Etch PCB Shields?

It is possible to chemically etch PCB shields. Precise and intricate designs can be achieved with this process. Chemically etched PCB enclosures are cost-effective and seamlessly fit on the circuit boards. The main disadvantages of this technique are the lengthy processing time and hazardous chemical exposure.

How to Install A Circuit Board Shield?

The installation process depends on the type of circuit board shields. For example, many surface mount and through-hole PCB shields require soldering to secure the connection. On the other hand, clip-on shields can be attached only by snapping the pins or clips over the board.
