Tuling Custom Copper Busbar
Our copper busbars are made of the purest quality copper (C11000) with a thin metal plating. The high-quality copper ensures excellent conductivity, corrosion resistance, and mechanical strength to the busbars.
We can manufacture copper busbars in customized sizes, designs and mounting styles with threads and holes. We perform a thorough operational sequence, from sheet metal stacking to insulation, to maintain quality and accuracy of our busbars.
All Tuling busbars are perfect for low to high-current and both AC/DC applications. Our copper busbars meet AS9100D, ISO 9001:2015, IEC 60439-1, BS EN 13601 and UL 508A industry standards.
Tuling Electrical Copper Bus Bar Products

Solid copper busbars are made of a single, solid copper metal piece.

Flexible copper busbars are used in tight and hard-to-install spaces.
Multiple layers of copper are laminated together in laminated copper busbars.
Grounded copper bus bars come with thread and holes for multiple connection points.
Copper braided busbars are used in areas requiring high flexibility and high current connectors.
Tuling Plated Copper Bus Bar Products

Tuling Copper Busbar Customization Options
Copper Grades: We use CuETP 99.9% purity copper (C11000) for our busbars for the best quality. We have an inventory of other copper grades, for example, C10200, C17200, and C19400.
Dimension: Typically, a copper busbar can be as large as 150 mm in width and up to 6000 mm in length. The thickness can be up to 12 mm. We can manufacture copper bus bars in any non-standard sizes.
Shapes: Tuling can transform the flat, solid bus bars into multi-hole and threaded copper busbars, depending on the specifications. Moreover, we can produce round or square edges on the busbars.
Mounting Style: Our copper busbars can be customized in any mounting type, e.g., bolt or clamp connecting, direct mounting, busbar supports, DIN rail mounting, or backplane mounting, depending on the application’s requirements.
Custom Copper Bus Bar Fabrication Process at Tuling
Here at Tuling, our custom laminated copper bus bars are manufactured this way:
- First, we stack copper sheets (>=1mm) with or without insulating layers in the middle.
- Next, the stack is cut into our desired shape and size using a die cutter.
- Now, we employ diffusion bonding (heat and pressure) to laminate the layers together. With this, our busbars are primarily ready.
- CNC machining is done to bring precision to the laminated busbar.
- Finally, we perform bending and punching to give the busbar your required shape and design.
- For insulation, we offer both heat-shrinkage PVC insulations and epoxy-coated insulations.

Tuling Copper Busbars for Different Industries
Our copper busbars have a wide range of applications in different industries. A few to mention are:
- Power Distribution Systems: Copper bus bars are installed in circuit breakers, switch gears, distribution boards, and electrical panels as power distributors.
- Automotive and Transportation: Electric vehicles and other transportations use copper bus bars for power transfer and grounding. For example, automotive grounding bus bar ground electrical and battery components, ensuring safety.
- Data Centers: Bus bars can minimize downtime in IT servers with efficient and reliable power transfer.
- Marine Sector: Marine ground bus bar distributes electrical power to different vessels and offshore platforms with a secure channel.
Tuling technical team will assist you in selecting the appropriate copper busbar. They ask you about some specifics, e.g., expected current-carrying capacity, voltage rating, environmental conditions, dimensions, and installation requirements. After analyzing the data, the team suggests an optimized copper busbar design.
Copper has a higher electrical and thermal conductivity compared to aluminum. The mechanical strength and corrosion resistance of copper is also better. Hence, copper busbars are more durable and offer longer service life than aluminum busbars.
