Trusted Copper Clad Aluminum Busbar Supplier in China

Tuling’s Copper Clad Aluminum Busbar

The copper coating on aluminum ensures a high quality performance of our CCA (copper clad aluminum) bars. These busbars weigh 2 to 2.5 times less than the pure copper bars of the same length. Our copper cladded bars offer more than 98% conductivity in a 64% reduced volume.

Tuling CCA busbars are corrosion and wear resistant. Also, we can manipulate hardness properties via tempering and annealing. Our heat-treated CCA busbar grades are O, H28, H26, and H24.

Manufacturing Process of Tuling Copper Clad Aluminum Busbar

At Tuling, we utilize solid-liquid processing technology to manufacture copper-clad aluminum bars. This process helps us to permanently wrap the copper layer around an aluminum core in an oxygen-free environment.

Our upgraded cladding technology allows us to produce a firm bond between aluminum and copper without any defects and cracking. These bus bars are flexible enough to cut, bend, and punch.

Copper Clad Aluminum Bar Fabrication Capabilities

Tuling Copper Clad Aluminum Bar Fabrication Capabilities

Our production floor has upgraded machines and over 50 presses to produce CCA bars of your specifications. We have facilities for bending, forming, drilling, milling, welding, plating, etc. Our precise machining technology allows us to control the dimensional tolerance down to ± 0.001’’.

We can make copper-clad aluminum bus bars with round and square corned edges. Our products have GB/T 30586-2014 and ASTM B1005 − 17 certifications.

What’s the working temperature of the Tuling copper-clad aluminum busbar?

Our copper-coated aluminum bars can perform well in highly heated environments. According to our test results, the copper clad maintains firm bonding up to 500 °C.

Is copper-clad aluminum busbar better than nickel or silver-coated aluminum?

In terms of conductivity and performance, you should use aluminum bus bars with metal platings, such as nickel, silver, or tin. But copper-clad aluminum is a logical choice when budget and weight are your main considerations.
