Surface Treatment Method of Our Tin-plated Aluminum Bus Bar
Direct tinning on aluminum bus bars can cause adhesion problems and galvanic corrosion. Hence, at Tuling, we add an intermediate zinc dipping step to solve this issue.
We prepare the surface of our aluminum bus bars and then dip them in a zinc bath. After allowing the zinc to dry on the bars, we finally move to the tinning process. We tin-coat the aluminum bus bars with either a tin immersion or electroplating technique.
